Andreé Robinson-Neal, EdD, serves the global community as a scholar-practitioner and activist. She has worked in higher education since 2000. Prior to moving to Southern California with her family, Andreé lived in southern New Jersey. She completed her doctoral studies at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, graduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, and undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick (NJ). She also serves as a peer reviewer for a number of journals. For detail on her non-fiction work, visit Selected Works.
Andreé began her journey into fiction writing in the late 1970s, when she had a short science fiction story published in her hometown electric company newsletter after winning an honorable mention in a contest. She thoroughly enjoys the nuances of speculative fiction. Her work can be found at MicroHorror, The Story Shack, and on her blog, where she writes under the name AR Neal. She also contributes at Flash Fiction Chronicles.
She reads voraciously and when not working or writing can be found romping with her husband Christopher, son Khalil, two dogs (Pi and Sputnik), and two dog-like cats (Tigger and PJ). They also have fish and an arboretum of plants, both of which refuse to romp with the rest of the family.
